Somerville Recorded 18 Home Sales From $508,000 To $3.2 Million In July
Somerville recorded 18 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, with sale prices recorded on 11 of them. Recorded prices ranged from $508,000 for a Tufts Street condominium to $3.2 million for a home on Francis Avenue, with a median of $975,000. Concord Avenue and Derby Street each saw two transactions. Several of the unpriced transfers moved property into family trusts rather than to new owners, a pattern distinct from arm's-length sales. With recorded prices split between the $500,000-to-$1-million and above-$1-million ranges, the data shows no single price tier dominating July's activity.
