Somerville Zoning Board Delays Linden Street Curb-Cut Ruling to April 1
Zoning Board · Meeting of March 18, 2026
Somerville's Zoning Board of Appeals continued a curb-cut application at 12 Linden Street to April 1, citing late document submissions. Attorney Mike Ross, representing the owner of Unit 10 at the address, uploaded an updated survey and a letter from the Linden Street Condominium Trust to the city's permitting portal on the night of the March 18 hearing, too late to meet the board's seven-day review window. Vice Chair Anne Brockelman told Ross that "from our point of view, we have received nothing new from the last hearing." Outstanding items include a dated version of the condo trust letter, a recorded deed showing the space is connected to Unit 10, and Inspectional Services sign-off on the revised plan.
The neighboring property owner at 14 Linden Street, Derek Yee, spoke in support of the application during a brief public comment period. Five board members voted unanimously to continue the case; alternate Brian Cook did not cast a vote on the continuance.
