Somerville Youth Hockey's Instructional Mites and PeeWee Blue squads are being celebrated as champions on the club's website.

SOMERVILLE -- Somerville Youth Hockey Association's website credited two of its teams with recent titles: the Instructional Mites for "their tournament win," and the PeeWee Blue team for "their VHL Championship," a reference to the Valley Hockey League. The club's site did not provide opponents, scores, or dates for either result.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Somerville Youth Hockey also lists its 26/27 Learn to Play 8+ program and a Women's Learn to Play offering as open on its website, alongside its youth teams spanning Mites through Midget levels. Somerville Youth Soccer's site continued to promote its previously announced SYS Night at the Revolution on September 19 and its second annual SYS Day at Harvard women's soccer on September 20, both first announced in prior weeks. No Somerville High School games were reported for the period, according to ArbiterLive.
